مركز اليونسكو الإقليمي للجودة والتميز في التعليم يوقّع مذكرة تعاون استراتيجي مع شركة سما السعودية المتحدة للاستثمار

وقّع مركز اليونسكو الإقليمي للجودة والتميز في التعليم، يوم الثلاثاء 14 يوليو 2026م بمدينة الرياض، مذكرة تفاهم وتعاون استراتيجي مع شركة سما السعودية المتحدة للاستثمار؛ بهدف تعزيز الشراكة بين الجانبين وتطوير البرامج والمشروعات والمبادرات المشتركة الداعمة لجودة التعليم وتميّزه.
ومثّل المركز في توقيع المذكرة سعادة المدير العام الدكتور عبدالرحمن بن إبراهيم المديرس، فيما مثّلت شركة سما السعودية المتحدة للاستثمار صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة سلطانة بنت منصور بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة.
وتهدف المذكرة إلى وضع إطار عام للتعاون الاستراتيجي بين الطرفين في مجالات رفع جودة التعليم، وتعزيز التميز المؤسسي والبرامجي، ودعم الابتكار التعليمي والتحول الرقمي، وتطوير المهارات وبناء القدرات، وتحقيق معايير جودة الحياة في التعليم، بما يسهم في دعم التنمية المستدامة وتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030.
وتشمل مجالات التعاون تحديد المشروعات والمبادرات التعليمية ذات الأولوية، وبحث فرص تمويل برامج الجودة والتميز، وإعداد ونشر البحوث والدراسات المتعلقة بجودة التعليم والابتكار والاستثمار التعليمي المستدام، إلى جانب تنظيم المؤتمرات والملتقيات والندوات وورش العمل والبرامج العلمية والتدريبية.
كما تتضمن المذكرة دعم المبادرات التقنية والابتكارية في قطاع التعليم، وتنفيذ برامج بناء القدرات الموجهة للقيادات التعليمية والمعلمين والمختصين والمستثمرين، وتطوير مشروعات مشتركة تسهم في تحقيق أثر تعليمي وتنموي مستدام.
واتفق الطرفان على تشكيل لجنة عمل مشتركة تتولى دراسة فرص التعاون وإعداد الاتفاقيات والملاحق التنفيذية الخاصة بالمشروعات والبرامج المشتركة، ومتابعة تنفيذها وتقييم مستوى التقدم فيها، فيما تمتد مدة المذكرة ثلاث سنوات من تاريخ توقيعها، مع إمكانية تجديدها باتفاق الطرفين.
UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education Signs Strategic Cooperation MoU with SAMA Saudi Investment Company
The UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Cooperation with SAMA Saudi Investment Company on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, in Riyadh. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and to develop joint programmes, projects, and initiatives that support quality and excellence in education.
The Center was represented at the signing by its Director-General, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaires, while SAMA Saudi Investment Company was represented by Her Royal Highness Princess Sultana bint Mansour bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairperson of the company.
The MoU establishes a general framework for strategic cooperation in enhancing education quality, promoting institutional and programme excellence, supporting educational innovation and digital transformation, developing skills and capacities, and advancing quality-of-life standards in education. These areas of cooperation are intended to contribute to sustainable development and the achievement of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The areas of cooperation include identifying priority educational projects and initiatives, exploring funding opportunities for quality and excellence programmes, and preparing and publishing research and studies on education quality, innovation, and sustainable investment in education.
The MoU also provides for cooperation in organising conferences, forums, seminars, workshops, and scientific and training programmes, as well as supporting technological and innovative initiatives in the education sector.
In addition, the two parties will cooperate in implementing capacity-building programmes for educational leaders, teachers, specialists, and investors in the education sector, and in developing joint projects that contribute to sustainable educational and developmental impact.
The parties agreed to establish a joint working committee to examine cooperation opportunities, prepare implementation agreements and annexes for joint programmes and projects, monitor progress, and assess the level of cooperation. The MoU will remain in effect for three years from the date of signing and may be renewed by mutual written agreement.
